Chargers Injury News: Trio Of Bolt Starters Miss Thursday's Practice

Three key Chargers are not practicing as the team looks to turn it around.

It is Thursday, and three key starters, Joey Bosa, Corey Linsley, and Gerald Everett, have yet to practice this week.

The Chargers may be playing it safe with Joey Bosa, as he suffered his hamstring injury in Week 1 against the Dolphins but has played every game since.

The Chargers may let him rest or recover during practice and then have him in a limited capacity on Friday to prepare for Sunday's game.

Linsley and Everett have missed this week's practice due to illness, and it is unclear whether or not they have the same illness. Usually, these things will hold players out of practice to avoid spreading any bug circulating in the team.

There is usually a quick turnaround window for these athletes to recover and start on Sunday.

If all three of these starters cannot play today, then the Chargers will have to make up for missing four starters, as Mike Williams had his 2023 season officially end due to an ACL tear against the Vikings last Sunday.

The Chargers did get Kenneth Murray and Khalil Mack back at practice, which is a good bump to the defense since Murray was the leading tackler in Sunday's contest against Minnesota.

The Chargers are preparing for a division rival matchup as the Bolts will take on the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium on October 1st.
