Chargers Injury Report: 5 Key Starters Miss Practice Ahead of Packers Week

A good amount of Bolt starters miss Wednesday's practice

The Los Angeles Chargers are preparing to take on another NFC North opponent, the Green Bay Packers. And as the Bolts are gearing up for the week leading up, a handful of key starters didn't appear for practice, laboring from injuries.

Five key starters didn't practice on Wednesday: tight ends Donald Parham Jr and Gerald Everett, defensive lineman Sebastian Joseph-Day, edge rusher Khalil Mack, and wide receiver Keenan Allen.

Allen may be the most missed if he cannot go by Sunday, as he is dealing with a shoulder injury. The 31-year-old appeared to injure it mid-game against the Detroit Lions. Yet, he was able to finish the game but has yet to practice this week.

As for their defensive star, Khalil Mack, his no-practice status is no big deal as the veteran is just resting. The other defensive player, SDJ, is on the injury report due to a knee injury. We don't know the severity of it, but hopefully, it's nothing too severe.

Everett is considered day-to-day at the moment with a back injury. The 29-year-old tight end left Sunday's game early in the second half and was unable to return. And if the backup tight end, Parham, is unable to go with his hip injury, then it will be up to either Stone Smartt or Nick Vannett.

No offense, but hopefully, that isn't the case for the tight-end position. Moreover, we hope all will be out there in another must-win for the Bolts as they look to get back to .500.
