The Los Angeles Chargers are entering the upcoming season with high hopes and several changes to their squad. One significant addition is offensive coordinator Kellen Moore, who is expected to bring new energy to the Chargers' offense. Although there have been several changes, the constant with most of the team remains like star quarterback Justin Herbert and star running back Austin Ekeler leading the charge.

Moore has expressed how excited he is to be in Los Angeles with his new QB but couldn't help but show his eagerness to start coaching Ekeler. Moore spoke to Chargers insider Elliott Teaford from the OC Register, who expressed his excitement about having Ekeler in his offense.

“Excitement,” Moore said of his reaction to the news that Ekeler would be with the Chargers for at least one more season. “Really excited to get to work with Austin. I think that he’s been, obviously, one of the top guys in this league. He has had such an impact on this place. Really excited to start building this thing together and building his role in this offense. I’m really, really excited.”

Moore led the Dallas Cowboys to a top-10 rushing team in the 2022 season, thanks to the performances of Tony Pollard and Ezekiel Elliott. This experience bodes well for Ekeler and the Chargers' rushing game. The addition of Moore is expected to have a significant positive impact on the team as a whole, benefiting all players involved.

For Ekeler, this season is his chance to showcase his skills furthermore and prove that he deserves the lucrative contract he seeks. He aims to establish himself as the best player in his position, and all eyes will be on him as he strives to meet these expectations.

Overall, the Chargers face high expectations compared to previous years, with fans and observers expecting great things from the team. With Moore's arrival, the offensive potential of the Chargers seems limitless, and the team's success will likely hinge on how well they capitalize on this new opportunity.
