Your Los Angeles Chargers are primed to redeem themselves after a disatrious ending to their 2022 season.

They have all the tools to make a deep postseason run led by their Pro Bowl quarterback, Justin Herbert. They've also made some moves this off-season to be considered one of the best teams in the league.

Pro Football Network believes they are one of those teams,as currently constructed. Pro football Network's lead NFL analyst Dalton Miller made his NFL Power Rankings and put the Bolts at number nine.

"The Los Angeles Chargers return Trey Pipkins to the roster next season while adding Eric Kendricks. But the biggest moves could still be coming, because running back Austin Ekeler has requested a trade."

"Adding offensive coordinator Kellen Moore should help the Chargers’ offense, but if Los Angeles loses too many pieces during the offseason, they could find trouble overcoming sore spots on the roster."

The off-season is still young so a lot more can happen to consider the Chargers as a great team. However, the opposite can happen and that's all up to the Austin Eckler side of things. Eckler requested a trade earlier this week and there is a good chance the Chargers honor his request.

Still, he is a running back, a good one at that, but it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. The running back position is expendable and their window is small.

Eckler, 27, is still young and is coming off a career-high 13 touchdowns and 1637 total scrimmage yards. You would expect a lot in return for the running back, including multiple first-round draft picks.

Right now, the Chargers are a good team, and I think they'll still be a good team without Eckler (depending on who they replace him with).

The nine spot is fair at the moment. We'll see what they  do in free agency, the draft, and if any trades are made. LA needs to do something to get over the hump, and it'll be intresting to see what they do the remainder of this offseason.
