Eric Kendricks, the pride of Central California, is back where he spent four years of his collegiate career. After spending eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, Kendricks is now a Bolt and is happy to be closer to home.

However, he didn't come back to LA for the lifestyle or the amenities it offers. He came to win some football games, similar to how his Vikings won many football games last season.

“Honestly, they’re a good team. They’re contenders,” he said. "This is my ninth year in the league. I’ve seen a lot. I’ve done a lot. Hopefully, my experiences can help everybody else around me. … I’m just going to come in here, be myself, and play the game that I love to play.”

That's all the Chargers need from Kendricks. The All-Pro linebacker is an accomplished football player, but he still needs postseason success, and he hopes to have that with LA. The 31-year-old already has a Pro-Bowl selection and All-Pro selection and has recorded a ton of tackles, but a Super Bowl is what Kendricks desires.

The Chargers have those similar aspirations; they have the talent and the quarterback to get it done. Not only is the offense sensational, and it will get better by the start of the season, but the defense is stacked with talent.

Derwin James, Joey Bosa, and Kahlil Mack are the heads of the snake on that end, and they'll be a lot better with Kendricks' high IQ and experience in this league.
