Your Los Angeles Chargers continue to come up in a handful of rumors as there are still some positions on their roster that could use some depth. Luckily for the Bolts, some experienced free agents are still left on the market and even though John Johnson III hasn't inked a deal yet, LA is looking attractive to some other players as well.

LA already welcomed in a young edge rusher to help out their defense with Tuli Tuipulotu from USC who established himself as one of the best players at the collegiate level during the 2023 draft. They also have a number of serviceable options signed already but it's clear they have some lengths to go to improve on that side of the ball.

Well it looks like the city-rival Rams may have helped the Bolts in that department. They had to let go of one of their top edge rushers in Leonard Floyd due to the rebuilding stage they're in right now and he is heavily being rumored to head to the Chargers for his next stop.

"Fans should fully expect Floyd to find a new home before training camp, and it could be in Los Angeles. The Chargers have a bigger need for a run defender, but Floyd would be a terrific complement to Bosa and Mack in the pass-rush rotation. It's worth noting that Chargers head coach Brandon Staley was Floyd's defensive coordinator with the Rams in 2020."

The Chargers' front office is still looking to improve the team in every way possible. Floyd has the experience and endurance to make an impact on this group and he'd be a great addition.

Floyd is coming off of a 2022 campaign that saw him record 59 combined tackles with nine sacks.
