Chargers News: Kellen Moore Keeps the Faith in LA's Late-Game Drives

They need to figure it out quickly if they're going to be in these close games week in and week out

Game time is near, Charger fans! A new week presents new opportunities, and your Bolts will look to seize the moment. They have yet to do so as they sit at 0-2, and a part of it is due to their lack of late-game offensive drives, missing out on potential game-winners.

This is unexpected, given the immense talent on the Chargers roster. However, LA Offensive Coordinator Kellen Moore remains confident that they'll iron out these issues, and his unit is diligently working towards improvement.

"We've practiced those situations a lot. It's something that we just have to continue to work on. We feel good about when we have those opportunities that we can take advantage of them. We've had two. They haven't turned out. You just keep on moving and growing each and every time. You feel like you'll take advantage of some other ones moving forward.”

The Chargers and their upcoming opponents, Minnesota Vikings, sit at 0-2, with the looming specter of a 0-3 record casting a shadow.

Week 3 could be more of the same when it comes to a late-game drive. While it won't be easy, the Chargers possess all the necessary components to get the job done, whether it requires a 75-yard drive or more.

Indeed, it's a tall task, but if the Chargers can live up to their expectations and potential, there won't be any late-game drives to fret over. This Sunday's matchup offers another chance for the team to showcase its strengths and turn the tide in their favor.
