Chargers News: Los Angeles Lands Offensive Star With No. 5 Pick In Fresh Mock
In a fresh mock draft, Mike Kashuba of Last Word On Sports projects that your Los Angeles Chargers will select junior Louisiana State University Tigers wide receiver Malik Nabers.
"Surely every mock draft will say “this is where the real draft starts”. Well, this is where the real draft starts," Kashuba writes. "This Chargers team needs speed like we need air to breathe. Nabers has it in bunches."
The unanimous All-American and First-Team All-SEC honoree, 20, was the program's scoring champ with 3,003 total yardage.

LA's other Day 1 starting wide receiver, Mike Williams, is rarely healthy. Los Angeles general manager Joe Hortiz needs to bolster Justin Herbert's offensive options. Nabers could represent a key opportunity to do just that.
