Chargers News: Pro Bowl Teammate Convinced Keenan Allen Is A Hall Of Famer

Does he have a point?

In a lengthy chat with Trey Wingo and ex-Los Angeles Chargers teammate Chase Daniel, Pro Bowl LA quarterback Justin Herbert revealed just how highly he thinks of six-time Pro Bowl Bolts wide receiver Keenan Allen.

The full conversation is below.

"He's a true professional. He takes great care of his body and to be able to do it for eight-plus years is really impressive. He hasn't dropped off at all. To have a guy like that who's so friendly to the quarterback, [a guy who] understands defensive leverage, how to attack it, where to get open -- he really understands those soft spots just sitting down in zone -- to have a guy like that, he definitely makes my job so much easier," Herbert said.

"I think he's a top guy, he's going to be a Hall of Famer, it's a true honor to play next to him," Herbert added, throwing in the opinion that Allen would achieve football's highest post-career honor as added icing on top of the other compliments.

This year, the 6'2", 211-pound Cal product notched 108 total receptions and seven touchdowns on 150 targets for 1,243 total yards in just 13 games, averaging 11.5 yards per carry.
