The Los Angeles Chargers needed another offensive weapon, and they did that with their 21st overall selection in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Bolts' newest WR, Quentin Johnston, will join a loaded wide receiver room and was introduced today in front of the LA media.

While talking to the media, Johnston described what he brings to the Bolts and what separates him from the rest.

"Electric, I feel like what I can do with the ball in my hands."

If there's one thing Quentin isn't lacking, it's confidence. The Texas native earned first-team All-Big 12 honors in his junior year while leading the team with 487 receiving yards and was ranked fifth in the FBS with 22.1 yards per catch.

Chargers head coach Brandon Staley loves the pick and gives insight into his new pass catcher.

"He's a weapon to score the ball any time that he touches it," Staley said. "There are very few receivers in the game who are threats to score the ball whenever they have it."

Johnston believes in himself, coach Staley and the front office do as well; we'll see how he produces under the bright lights of Los Angeles.
