Chargers News: Star Safety Absence in Practice Raises Concerns For Status in Division Clash

We'll see if he can be out there this Sunday

We're two days away from the Chargers sixth game of the season, and it could be their toughest of the season as they head to take on their divsion rival, the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chargers will look to capture their second divsion win of the seaosn, but it could be without their star safety, Derwin James. James was not seen at practice today as he is dealing with an ankle injury.

The 28-year-old superstar popped up on the injury report with an ankle injury on Thursday, and his status for Sunday's showdown remains uncertain.

James was limited in practice on Thursday, and today; he was not seen in practice. This could be a significant blow to the Charger secondary, which is already struggling mightily, and the Chiefs won't be forgiving to the potential short-handed LA secondary.

We hope he will be available for the Bolts this upcoming Sunday.
