Chargers News: Titans Defensive Coordinator Evaluates LA's Threats Ahead of Week 2 Clash

A huge AFC matchup is set for this early in the season

Week 2 is upon us, Charger fans, and with that comes a new challenge in the form of the Tennessee Titans. The Chargers will travel to Tennessee for their Week 2 clash and a rematch from last year's Week 15 showdown.

This time, they'll play each other earlier in the year, and the Bolts will look for their first win of the new year. As we all know, the defense had its fair share of problems in Week 1, but I won't hold them to do considering their opponent, and they'll be better as the season progresses. Their offense, on the other hand, was dynamic and explosive. The LA O was firing on cylinders, and we should expect that to happen week in and week out for the Bolts.

It won't be easy for the Tennessee defense to try and contain that side of the ball. During interviews this week, Titans defensive coordinator Shane Bowen gave his thoughts on LA's new offense and what he saw from them in. their latest game.

Bowen opened up by saying there are similarities between what they did last year and Week 1, and I know some aren't happy with that statement. Nonetheless, he does say he sees Kellen Moore's stamp and acknowledges the run game will be a cause for concern for his defense.

The Chargers will look for similar results on the offensive side of the ball as they racked up a total of 433 yards, zero turnovers, and 30 first downs. If the defense plays up to par and allows half of what they did in terms of yards in Week 1, LA should be able to easily pull away.

It won't be an easy task on the road; however, LA is the superior team, and we can't wait to get it started.
