Chargers News: Watch Global Rap Sensation Support LA Rookie Defender

Daiyan Henleyshowing Drake Los Angeles

The Chargers seem to have a new fan, as one of the biggest artists in the world is seen posing with a team jersey.

Drake is in the middle of his sold-out "It All Was a Blur" Tour and is currently making a four-night stop in Los Angeles.

Throughout the tour, the Canadian-born rapper has shown off his celebrity fans who have attended the concert. Some notable celebrities include Steph Curry, Bad Bunny, and Lamar Jackson.

At his concert on Monday night, Drake showed love to Chargers rookie Daiyan Henley. The two posed for a photo together, and Drake received a Henley jersey.

This is just the latest installment of Drake showing his passion for sports. Every time Drizzy drops an album, fans anticipate a few bars with sports references.

Occasionally, Drake goes out in the jerseys of some of his favorite players. Just a couple of weeks ago, he was seen wearing a Shohei Ohtani baseball jersey.

He can also be seen supporting his favorite teams from the sidelines. Drake is known to be a large Toronto Raptors fan and is a regular at home games.

While his hometown Toronto does not have a team, Drake is unclaimed when it comes to football.

Henley could have persuaded the global superstar to pick fandom with the Chargers.

Henley is the perfect representative of why Drake should be a Chargers fan. The Los Angeles native was a third-round draft pick out of Washington State this past season.

Although he has not played a game yet, Henley is expected to be a big part of the Chargers' defense at the linebacker position.
