Chargers News: Wild NFL Mock Draft Has Bolts Landing Best WR In The Draft

A new mock draft has the best WR in the draft falling to the Chargers.

The world is currently releasing mock drafts which are chock full of situations that are accurate, but some acquisitions are wild. For instance, a new NFL.com mock draft has the Los Angeles Chargers landing the best WR available.

To be honest, no one knows which young college prospect will transition well to the pro level. Not every drafted player goes on to be a superstar. Still, there are certain players that have the skillset that all but guarantees they will be an immediate impact player.

One such player is Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr., who has been rumored to go to the Arizona Cardinals at #4, or even before that. However, Lance Zierlein believes the Cardinals will select Malik Nabers, leaving Harrison to fall to the Chargers at #5.

"The Chargers need a tackle, and this could be a valuable pick if they decide to trade back. But Harrison Jr. put up 118 and 120 yards against Jim Harbaugh while he coached Michigan, so why not bring the ballyhooed wideout aboard?"

Malik Nabers, Harrison, and Rome Odunze are big three WR targets that many pundits have been discussing. However, the consensus is that Harrison is the best in the draft, so it is a bit strange that he would not be taken by the Cardinals.

Still, the Cardinals might view Nabers as the more complementary WR for their style of offense, leaving Harrison to fall.

The Chargers would get a massive pickup if they were to land Harrison. However, there is a chance that they also trade back with a QB-hungry team like the Falcons or Raiders.

Time will tell what the Chargers decide to do, but if they see the Cardinals draft, Nabers, the teams should jump at the chance to land Harrison.
