Draft Day is officially here for the NFL. The Indianapolis Colts and their 31 NFL rivals have spent months preparing for who they'll select in the draft.

During this stressful yet exciting day, getting the best possible talent in a crowded room of prospects takes the highest level of focus and mental warfare. Draft Day represents a massive opportunity for the Colts to switch the quarterback path they've been on since 2019, which has been a brutally bad stretch at the most important position in the NFL.

As many have been exhausted hearing, the Colts had 20 years of QB stability with Peyton Manning and Andrew Luck (1998-2018). But since Luck's retirement, it's been a whirlwind of craziness at quarterback for the coaching staff, GM Chris Ballard, and owner Jim Irsay.

The Colts will likely be selecting their future field general for years to come. For the first time in a decade, Indianapolis will need to make a tough choice between multiple qualified QBs, each of whom has a case to succeed.

However, per ESPN's Dianna Russini, plenty of teams are interested in getting the third pick from the Arizona Cardinals ahead of Thurdsay night's first round of the draft.

"I’m told the Arizona Cardinals are currently mulling trade offers from multiple teams interested in moving to No. 3 overall," Russini tweeted Thursday morning.

There has been news of the Colts and Cardinals discussing a possible trade for the No. 3 pick. After the Carolina Panthers shocked the NFL world with a blockbuster trade with the Chicago Bears for the No. 1 pick, Indianapolis may follow suit.

Considering that it's one spot and it likely won't cost as much as Carolina paid, and there's a serious chance that Ballard has thrown his hat into this group of potential offers. It may be the safest move to secure the spot and add comfort to knowing there's a higher chance of getting the right fit for Indianapolis.

The term "smoke season" is coming to an end. On Thursday night, the Colts will have a massive responsibility to select the next franchise player for the new Shane Steichen-led team.

The Colts might be making offers underneath it all to move up with a trade. Look for Ballard to potentially take a chance this evening.
