Bryce Young to Visit Panthers on Tuesday

A top quarterback option is set to make the trip to Carolina.

Each of the top four quarterbacks in the 2023 NFL Draft will get a trip to Carolina to visit with the Panthers' coaching staff and front office personnel. On Tuesday, Alabama's Bryce Young will be in town, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Young is perceived by many as the best quarterback in this draft class with the one red flag being his size. I think most would tend to agree if he were two inches taller and a few pounds heavier, he would be a slam dunk first pick of the draft with no questions asked.

During his Heisman Trophy-winning season in 2021, Young threw for 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns, and seven interceptions and completed 67% of his passes. He played in three fewer games in 2022 but still put up strong numbers throwing for 3,228 yards, 32 touchdowns, and five interceptions.

Although Florida's Anthony Richardson and Kentucky's Will Levis will be considered for the top pick, it appears to be a two-horse race between Young and Ohio State's C.J. Stroud.
