Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton was at practice Tuesday, performing rehab exercises. Due to a foot injury, Newton hasn't played since a 20-14 loss to Tampa Bay on Sept. 12.

According to the Panthers, Newton participated during the team stretch and performed with the team's training staff footwork and stationary throwing drills.

Back-up QB Kyle Allen has led the Panthers to four straight wins in Newton's absence, most recently a win over the Buccaneers on Sept. 13 in London, England. Carolina coach Ron Rivera said on Monday that Allen will start this week at San Francisco.
