The Las Vegas Raiders have been among the least-spending teams over the last three NFL seasons.

According to Spotrac, Las Vegas spent just $1,062,885,223 from the 2021 season through the 2023 season, which places them 23rd among all NFL teams. To compare, the highest-spending team in that time frame, the Cleveland Browns, spent $1.33 billion.

The Raiders’ three AFC West rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs, the Denver Broncos, and the Los Angeles Chargers, are all in the top 16.

Per Spotrac, the Raiders have spent $73,260,390 on defensive players currently on their roster and $114,634,097 on offensive players. That, of course, will soon change with their expected roster releases this week and free agency.

Las Vegas’ largest contract is that of wide receiver Davante Adams, who has three years remaining on his five-year, $140,000,000 contract. All-Pro edge rusher Maxx Crosby's is the second largest, with him having signed a four-year, $94 million deal in March 2022. Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo's contract was the third-largest on the team, but he is expected to be released shortly.
