Rams Trade Jalen Ramsey? 'Maybe,' He Says

Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey was brutally honest when addressing trade and cut rumors on Thursday.

Los Angeles Rams star cornerback Jalen Ramsey isn't staying off Twitter this offseason.

Set to make a base salary of $17 million next year, rumors swirled of Ramsey potentially being on the chopping block due to LA's need for cap room. He's been catching glimpses of all the recent gossip surrounding his uncertain future with the Rams.

His response?

"100% chance I WONT get cut … God bless tho," Ramsey tweeted Thursday. "This misinformation people run with is hilarious."

However, in a now-deleted tweet, Ramsey was brutally honest when addressing the likelihood of him being traded. He seems to regret pressing send on that one, since it was quickly taken down.

"I can PROMISE you, I won’t get cut… now trade? Maybe lol," Ramsey tweeted.

This all comes after Rams COO Kevin Demoff admitted that LA frequently gets trade calls about its star player and that "it's not just Jalen."

“People are always inquiring about our talent, and it’s not just Jalen (Ramsey)," Demoff said. "We get calls on all of our good players all of the time. In the next few months, we’ll see which direction this team goes.”

This past season, Ramsey had his struggles …

Still, he started all 17 games and finished with four interceptions for the second straight season. He also had two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and recorded his first-career sack before finishing the season with two of them.

There's clearly some uncertainty with Ramsey's future in LA, whether he denies it or flat-out admits it. For now, teams will have to play the waiting game to see
