Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. joined the Baltimore Ravens during free agency after sitting out last season with a torn ACL he suffered in the Los Angeles Rams' 23-20 win over the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.

With more than a year to recover from his injury, when his new quarterback Lamar Jackson was asked about how Beckham has looked since joining the Ravens during the broadcast of the team's 29-28 loss to the Washington Commanders on Monday night, the signal-caller revealed that the receiver has resembled the version of himself when he played with the New York Giants.

"Odell looks like the Odell we know. The original Odell from the Giants, the Super Bowl winning Odell," Jackson said.

Despite Beckham and Jackson not having played in either of the team's two preseason games, Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith revealed to ESPN that based on what he has observed during practice, both players are poised for a significant season ahead.

"I see those guys kicking it as well, so that's a good way to have that chemistry amongst those guys. There's going to be a lot of great things. [There's going] to be a lot of deep balls, intermediate balls, and balls all over the field for those guys. So I'm excited about that connection for those two," Smith said.

The Rams will have the opportunity to witness the Beckham and Jackson connection in person this season, as they are scheduled to travel to Baltimore for a Week 14 matchup at M&T Bank Stadium on Dec. 10.
