Rams Trade Idea: All Out For Bengals Receiver Tee Higgins?

The Los Angeles Rams had one of the best wide receiver groups in the entire NFL this past season, and a potential trade could make it even better.

The best part about the Los Angeles Rams this past season was their passing attack, as Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp proved to be a scary duo. But what if the team added a third receiver to the mix?

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins recently requested a trade away from the team that drafted him in the second round back in 2020. The star wideout wanted to be with the Bengals for a long time but was disappointed that the team had not talked with him about a long-term contract extension since March 2023.

Higgins had a slower year this year and only finished with 656 receiving yards, which is less than the Bengals' third receiver, Tyler Boyd. But this comes as a result of Higgins missing time, as he only played in twelve of the team's games, missing time with hamstring issues.

But when he is on the field, Higgins is one of the most versatile receivers in the league. He is fast enough to keep up with anyone, and he also uses his 6-4, 220-pound frame to make himself a red zone threat as well.

If the Rams were to trade for a player like Higgins, it would most likely take a lot of draft capital. But the team has shown in the past that they are more than willing to trade picks in order to build on their current roster in an effort to win immediately.

A wide receiver corps of Nacua, Kupp, and Higgins would be one of the best in recent memory, but the team has to ask themselves whether or not they are willing to give up what it takes to get it.
