'Lamar Jackson is Buying In!' Baltimore Ravens High on QB's Coming Season

The Baltimore Ravens have built maybe the best team around quarterback Lamar Jackson since he arrived in 2018.

The Baltimore Ravens have a chip on their collective shoulders entering 2024. An early exit from the 2023 playoffs - in somewhat embarrassing fashion - has left a bad taste in the mouths of Ravens coaches and players.

Quarterback Lamar Jackson didn't have his finest day as a pro completing 20 of 37 passes for 241 yards with one touchdown and one interception. he also added eight carries for 54 yards.

But next season, the team hopes Jackson can continue his MVP ways.

"[Jackson has] been great in terms of coming back and really buying in," Ravens president Sashi Brown said. "I thought Eric [DeCosta, Ravens GM] and John and Oz [Newsome] and Steve [Bisciotti, Ravens owner] did a great job just sticking through it last year and really putting some pieces around him so that he could feel successful and see the commitment to him as well."

One of the main factors in helping Jackson continue his dominance is rebuilding the offensive line - which lost some big pieces in free agency and trades.

"We've got to find who the next guys are going to be," Harbaugh said. "We have the guys in-house. We have free agents that we signed. And then we've got the draft. I'm confident that we'll have a very good offensive line."

The Ravens added running back Derrick Henry in free agency and it sounds like there's not room to bring back J. K. Dobbins or Dalvin Cook for depth.

"We're just going to see how that shakes out," Harbaugh said. "There are some moving pieces to that part. If we bring one of those two guys back, I'd be happy to do it. If we're not able to do it, we'll find some young guys."
