The Baltimore Ravens have a number of pending free agents this offseason, and one of the biggest names is linebacker Patrick Queen. The Seattle Seahawks have long been rumored as a potential new home for the LSU product who will be entering his fifth season.

Those rumors have intensified since former Baltimore defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald took over as head coach in Seattle.

The Seahawks have their own share of pending free agents, as linebackers Bobby Wagner and Jordyn Brooks could both be looking for new homes if Seattle decides to move on.

Bleacher Report thinks that the Macdonald signing makes Seattle the favorite to land Queen.

“The middle of their defense could use work,” the outlet detailed in a February 14, 2024 live stream. “I think Patrick Queen comes in, he’s familiar with the system.

“Could immediately contribute, immediately lead the way. Become a leader for Mike Macdonald on his side of the ball. It makes a lot of sense. It’s a good fit.”

According to Spotrac.com, Queen's projected market value is a five-year, $92.6 million contract. Queen's rookie deal was a four-year, $12.1 million contract.

Queen tallied a career-high 133 tackles with nine for loss, six quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, one interception, six passes broken up and one forced fumble in his 17 starts in Baltimore last season. His loss would be a big one for the Ravens.
