Former Ravens TE Shannon Sharpe Reveals Odd Bathroom Behavior

No stranger to bold statements, former Baltimore Ravens tight end Shannon Sharpe recently shared an intimate detail that has the internet buzzing.

In his 14 year NFL career former Baltimore Ravens tight end Shannon Sharpe was known for possessing a top-shelf personality to go with his Hall of Fame level of play.

If he had played during the days of access to the level we have now with NFL teams like the Ravens he undoubtedly would have been the most buzz worthy tight end in the league, if not player in general.

In fact, one of the most popular clips of his career features Sharpe calling for the President of the United States of America to send help for the New England Patriots who were being trounced by his Denver Broncos, prior to his days in Baltimore.

And since his retirement, he’s gone on to carve a media presence that is smart, entertaining, and sometimes simply shocking.

"I'd rather go in the woods than go in the gym," Sharpe said recently on his Nightcap YouTube show that also features former NFL receiver Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson and former NBA star Gilbert Arenas. "I'd rather go in the woods than go in the airport. Man, I like to be free. I take off all my clothes. I go to the bathroom and I take off everything I got and throw it on the floor."

Sharpe would go on to insist he’s not the only one that practices this form of ‘free expression’ in the bathroom, even as a grown man and not a six-year old which Arenas asserted is the age such behavior should stop.

Some might say Sharpe simply made the statements to garner attention, and he’s previously discussed topics like joining the ‘Mile High Club’, his clash with NBA player Ja Morant’s father Tee, and of course calling out player performances like the one linebacker Micah Parsons put on film in the Dallas Cowboys’ playoff loss to the Green Bay Packers.
