The Ravens are matching up against their DMV cross-town rival Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football in Game 2 of the preseason for each team.

One of the new offensive weapons for Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is former Boston College wideout, Zay Flowers. But even though Jackson isn't suited up, Flowers is showing he can catch passes from Josh Johnson too.

As Flowers displayed his yards-after-catch ability on a 26-yard catch, he was able to run into the end zone for his first NFL touchdown.

Flowers is one of the reasons for Ravens fans to be excited entering the 2023 season. He was the Ravens' first-round draft pick in April's NFL Draft for a reason. And he's showing it this preseason.

At the half at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, the Commanders lead the Ravens 17-14, but Flowers collected two passes for 37 yards and the touchdown.

Flowers was added to a Ravens' wideout room that includes the newly-signed Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor, who joined the team in the preseason, as well as returning star Rashod Bateman.

The Ravens are hoping to extend their NFL-best 24-game preseason winning streak, dating all the way back to 2015 when Lamar Jackson was a freshman at Louisville.
