Super Bowl Rigged for Chiefs so Taylor Swift Can Sway Presidency, Claims Candidate
Ironically, many of the same people who are complaining about the presence of Taylor Swift in the NFL spotlight are now using her name to spotlight an assortment of zany claims. A new one: The Super Bowl is about to be rigged in favor of the Kansas City Chiefs so Swift can eventually use her raised profile for an endorsement of the re-election of President Joe Biden.
“I wonder who’s going to win the Super Bowl next month. And I wonder if there’s a major presidential endorsement coming from an artificially culturally propped-up couple this fall,” Vivek Ramaswamy posted to Twitter.
Swift in an international icon with millions of fans - a status that pre-dates this year's relation with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. It would therefore seem as though if she had a particular policy leaning and wanted to use it, she could do so without the help of football.
There is no indication that the romance is fake. Nor is there much logic to the idea that NFL games are "rigged'' - indeed, we often wonder why it's only those who've lost the game who think that.
The Chiefs just beat the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 in the AFC Championship Game, causing some conspiracy-theorists to wonder if the game was fixed ... thereby missing an irony: When the Ravens won 14 games this year, were those outcomes fixed?
Or - again - does the boogieman only "rig'' games when our team loses?
The former Republican presidential candidate Ramaswamy has "lost'' as well; he's no longer in the race and has endorsed Donald Trump.
It’s unclear whether Swift is planning to openly endorse Biden for a second term. ... though obviously any candidate would prefer to have her 279 million followers on Instagram on their side.
