NEW ORLEANS — Two wideouts who made impressive plays during training camp practices and in preseason games are back with the New Orleans Saints.

The Saints' 10-player practice squad announced Sunday included Emmanuel Butler and Lil'Jordan Humphrey, who made strong 53-man roster cases with their play in the preseason.

Butler drew attention for his many contested catches early in training camp, and he finished strong with a 12-yard touchdown catch in the preseason finale on a pass from Teddy Bridgewater.

The quarterback said after the game how he gave the impressive wideout the nickname of "eBay" because he was too good to be an undrafted rookie, so the Saints got good value for cheap like someone would with an internet purchase.

Humphrey also made a handful of catches for big gains, including one for a touchdown in the preseason opener against the Vikings. His 43-yard grab in the finale against the Dolphins helped set up the touchdown to Butler.

Both players said after the game they hoped they did enough to at least warrant a spot on the practice squad.

Other Saints from the training camp roster now on the practice squad are tight ends Dan Arnold and Alize Mack, offensive lineman Derrick Henry II, cornerback T.J. Green and defensive back Terrell Williams Jr.

The Saints also brought back defensive lineman Mitchell Lowen, who was with the team from 2016 through December 2018, when the Detroit Lions claimed him off waivers. The Lions waived him Saturday during the roster cut-down process.

Also joining the Saints are former Tulane offensive lineman John Leglue, who the Denver Broncos waived at the end of the preseason. Also joining the Saints practice squad is former Chicago Bears wideout/running back Taquan Mizzell.
