NEW ORLEANS -- The New Orleans Saints aren't done considering their roster options.

The Saints on Tuesday had 11 players at three different positions come to the team facility for workouts, ESPN reported. Included among them was former Saints running back Marcus Murphy, a seventh-round selection by the Saints in 2015.

Murphy returned a punt for a touchdown as a rookie and played two seasons with the Saints. The Jets and Colts had him on their practice squad in 2017, and he ended that season with the Bills on injured reserve.

With the Bills in 2018, Murphy rushed 52 times for 250 yards and caught 11 passes in 11 games before going on injured reserve.

Here's the full list of players reported to come in for workouts:

Running back

  • Cameron Artis-Payne
  • Marcus Murphy
  • Zach Zenner
  • Darius Jackson

Tight end

  • Luke Willson
  • Ben Koyack
  • Brian Parker

Linebacker

  • James Burgess
  • Tre' Crawford
  • Tegray Scales
  • Tre Watson

Teams commonly bring players in for workouts throughout the season, sometimes only to be prepared for if they need an injury fill-in on short notice.
