The Saints offensive coaching staff is practically starting fresh next season. Another offensive assistant has left the fold, as D.J. Williams is heading to the Falcons as an assistant quarterback coach. A league source confirmed the news to Saints News Network.

D.J. Williams, who is the son of Super Bowl Champion Doug Williams, has been with the staff for several years. He served in the Senior Bowl last year as the National Team quarterbacks coach, working exclusively with Fresno State's Jake Haener. We were told that Williams was offered a different role within the organization, but chose to accept a new role with Raheem Morris' staff in Atlanta.

On the Saints website, there's just six offensive coaches listed, but will now dwindle to five with the Williams move. Clancy Barone is currently the lone holdover from a positional standpoint. Assistant to the Head Coach Mike Martinez and Offensive assistants Jahriu Evans, Kevin Petry and Jordan Traylor are the only ones left. We'll see if Klint Kubiak keeps them or if more changes are on the horizon for New Orleans.
