Saints Waive Two to Make Room for New Players

The Saints waived two players to make room for their trio of new ones brought in on Tuesday.

With just one roster spot open entering today, the Saints had to make a few moves to make way for some of their new players, and they did just that. New Orleans waived tight end Miller Forristall and guard Koda Martin on Tuesday to make room for offensive linemen Max Garcia and Trai Turner and tight end Jimmy Graham.

Garcia was one of the reported additions earlier today, while the team formally announced the signings of Turner and Graham. Forristall was one of the reserve/future additions the team had, but was never able to see the field during OTAs and minicamp. He passed his physical on Monday, but will not be in the plans. For Martin, he also joined on a reserve/future deal.

DENNIS ALLEN, MICKEY LOOMIS TAKEAWAYS FROM PRE-TRAINING CAMP PRESSER

The Saints enter training camp with a fairly strong outlook, as Dennis Allen anticipates full attendance to start things. Allen said that he sees all players participating in some form or fashion. We'll find out what everything looks like when the first practice kicks off on Wednesday morning. Stay tuned with Saints News Network for the very latest.
