Coming into their Monday night matchup in New Jersey against the New York Giants, the Seattle Seahawks had a chance to win their fourth straight game after opening the season with an embarrassing loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

They managed to turn that embarrassment onto the Giants and then some all game long en rout to a 24-3 win at MetLife Stadium. The way in which they were most impactful is something that we really hadn't seen from them this year. Coming into the game, the Seattle defense was near the bottom in sacks per game with five on the year, but tonight the unit preyed on a weak Giants offensive line and quarterback Daniel Jones.

They racked up 11 total sacks as a team, which is as many as eight teams had coming into this week.

In what is an extremely rare occurrence, Seattle had four different players that recorded two sacks each with Bobby Wagner, Devon Witherspoon, Uchenna Nwosu, and Jordyn Brooks all bringing down Jones a pair of times.

With the win, the Seahawks moved to 3-1 on the season while the Giants are not only dropping to 1-3, but wondering if giving Jones that huge extension was the right decision this offseason. The Seahawks have a chance to add to their win streak next Sunday, as they will again hit the road and travel to Cincinnati, Ohio to take on a struggling Bengals team that fell to 1-3 this weekend and appear to be snowballing.

For the Giants, it doesn't get any easier as they will be taking on the Miami Dolphins and the Buffalo Bills the week after.
