Watch: Joey Porter Jr. Gets Draft Call From Steelers

Watch the Pittsburgh Steelers bring Joey Porter Jr. home.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers didn't draft Joey Porter Jr. in the first round, which many thought ended their chances of the hometown cornerback. But when he was there at 32, they couldn't pass him up.

Porter admitted after being drafted that his emotions weren't very happy during night one of the NFL Draft. But once everything settled, he was thrilled how it all played out.

"It adds a little more fuel to the fire, and that just gives me even greater reason to go out and put on for Steeler Nation and my pops and everything," Porter Jr. said.

You got to see all of those emotions thanks to NFL Films, who documented the moment Porter Jr. got the call from the Steelers, bringing him home to Pittsburgh for his NFL career.

Joey Porter Sr., Porter Jr.'s dad, gave a chilling speech to his son after night one of the draft. Now that it all worked out for the Steelers, not only are they getting the cornerback they wanted, but he's got a little bit of an edge to bring with him.

"I'm coming home," Porter said.
