Steelers' Brian Flores Late Addition to Cardinals Second-Round HC Interviews

The Pittsburgh Steelers defensive assistant is growing interest around the league.

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers senior defensive assistant Brian Flores is expected to complete a second-round interview with the Arizona Cardinals for their head coach position, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Flores could be considered a late addition to the second round after multiple names were reported to be on the Cardinals' list. Amongst them are Cincinnati Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo and New York Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.

According to Rappoport, Flores has emerged as a hot candidate late in these interviews. He's also set to interview for the Denver Broncos' defensive coordinator position and is expected to be a top candidate for the Minnesota Vikings' defensive coordinator job alongside former Broncos' DC Ejiro Evero.

While Flores remains a top choice around the league, he spent the last week at the Senior Bowl scouting for the Steelers. If he does not land a job this offseason, it's expected he returns to Pittsburgh.
