Steelers' Ben Roethlisberger Snubbed From All-Time QB List

The Pittsburgh Steelers is on the outside looking in at some questionable names.

Since the retirement of Tom Brady, the second time, the NFL world has started to discuss where the rest of the quarterbacks fall in the all-time list. And with a Hall of Fame enshrinement in front of him, Pittsburgh Steelers great Ben Roethlisberger is being talked about on those lists - or at least some of them.

Roethlisberger is getting love for being one of the greatest quarterbacks of his generation, but he's also being passed up in the all-time debates. The most notable snub was from NFL Network's Greg Rosenthal, who had another QB from Big Ben's time ahead of him in his rankings.

While Rodgers sits sixth on the list, it's a bit surprising that he's that high up when Roethlisberger isn't mentioned. Rodgers may have bested Big Ben in their Super Bowl matchup, but the Steelers great has two rings to Rodgers one, sits four spots higher on the all-time passing yards list, and only three spots behind Rodgers in passing touchdowns.

Patrick Mahomes could also be considered an early addition that might have jumped too soon onto the top 10. Is he on his way? Yes. Can he get there with another Super Bowl win this month? Yes. But it's a debate whether or not here's there now.

Even if Roethlisberger is outside looking in on a national level, in Pittsburgh, many will defend him as one of the greatest to ever play. And if you ask about a Steelers fan's top 10, chances are Big Ben is on there somewhere.
