Steelers Could Avoid Browns QB Deshaun Watson

The Pittsburgh Steelers may avoid the Cleveland Browns starting QB.

PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers might not face Deshaun Watson a second time this season as the Cleveland Browns quarterback is uncertain if he'll play in Week 11 due to an ankle injury.

Watson has dealt with injuries throughout the season, with his latest coming in Week 10 against the Baltimore Ravens. Watson left early in the game but returned in the second half. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, "more information" is needed before a decision is made for his status this week.

"More information is needed to determine whether or not Deshaun Watson will be on the field for what's now shaping up to be a huge game against the Pittsburgh Steelers," Rapoport said.

Watson finished his first matchup with the Steelers completing 22 of 40 passes for one touchdown and one interception. Pittsburgh won on a fumble returned for a touchdown that Alex Highsmith forced on Watson.

If Watson does not play, the Browns will roll with P.J. Walker, who is 1-1 as a starter this season.
