Three Steelers Injured at Training Camp

The Pittsburgh Steelers had three players leave practice early.

LATROBE -- The Pittsburgh Steelers are battling a few injuries during training camp, and are missing four players as they look to close out Week 1 at Saint Vincent College.

According to head coach Mike Tomlin, safety Damontae Kazee is dealing with an ankle injury, defensive end DeMarvin Leal has had trouble with the heat, and running back Alfonzo Graham has a shoulder injury.

Leal was one of a few players who dealt with heat-related injuries during a 90-degree practice on Day 2. He left practice on Day 3 because of difficulty breathing and was unable to return.

Kazee and Graham were both injuries on Day 3.

Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has also been off the practice field and is dealing with a "personal issue." Tomlin said he has the team's support at this time. He's yet to practice during team drills in three days.

Tomlin did not clarify the degree of any of the injuries or how long he expects any of the four players to be out.

The Steelers have one practice left in Week 1 before a day off.
