The former Pittsburgh Steelers wideout finds a new home in the NFL.

PITTSBURGH -- Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cody White has found a new home in the NFL, signing to the Seattle Seahawks practice squad, the team announced.

White spent the last three years on the Steelers before being released this past summer. After suffering an injury during the preseason, White was released with an injury settlement and remained a free agent throughout the beginning of the regular season.

Seattle is White's first team since joining Pittsburgh in 2020. The former Michigan State standout played 15 games in 2021 but just one last season, catching six passes for 35 yards as a Steeler.

The veteran wideout could be an option on offense and as a special teamer. During his time in Pittsburgh, White was known as a hardworking member of the receiving core who was their go-to when they needed to make a call up for gameday.

He'll join fellow Steelers teammate Devin Bush in Seattle this season.
