Bold Prediction Steelers Should be Thrilled About
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have plenty of impressive pieces to their defense, but the one who might sneak up on people is going to make fans very happy.
The Steelers have all the tools in place for their rookies. They brought in veterans to teach the defensive backs, have a built offensive line for Broderick Jones and, well, T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith should be able to give Nick Herbig enough to grow into something in the NFL.
Which is where our bold prediction takes us.
It's Nick Herbig. Who, by all early indicators, is going to make some plays for the Steelers - and should make some this season behind a group of impressive veterans.
What Herbig has done already should leave the Steelers feeling confident. What's to come when the pads come on is what counts, but if he's got the fundamentals down before training camp, he should be able to put it all together in Latrobe.
Fans should be paying attention to this rookie. He's got the keys to success in his hands, and he's utilizing all of them to become something great.
