The Titans performed maybe one of the most underhanded troll jobs in the history of the NFL on Sunday. They broke out the old Houston Oilers throwback uniforms for a home game against the Houston Texans.

Of course, the Titans originated in Houston and played there from 1960 to 1996, and took the Oilers' records, colors, history and logos with them to Tennessee where they became the Titans.

On Sunday, in an ultimate bit of trolling, the Titans forced Houston fans to cheer against the "Love Ya, Blue" look. But it was the Texans and their fans who go the last laugh with a 19-16 overtime victory in Nashville.

After the game, the Texans' social media jabbed back at an earlier post by the Titans.

We'd call that a win for the Texans both on the field and in the troll category.

The Texans beat the Oilers/Titans without star rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud, who is still in concussion protocol. Backup Case Keenum filled in under center and overcame an early interception for a touchdown and four sacks on the day - ultimately throwing for 229 yards and a touchdown in the win.

Houston was also without top receiver Nico Collins, right tackle George Fant and a pair of defensive starters including end Will Anderson Jr., the No. 3 overall draft pick.

It was the third straight win for the Texans, who could again get the last laugh against Tennessee come playoff time. The Titans are currently eliminated from playoff contention while the Texans are the first team on the bubble in the No. 8 seed with three games remaining.
