Houston and Dallas are on the opposite sides of Texas from one another, which, coincidentally, mirrors how fans of the Houston Texans and Dallas Cowboys are currently on opposite sides of the emotional spectrum.

It's the best of times in Houston, as the Texans just thumped the Cleveland Browns 45-14 in Saturday's Wild Card game. The Texans have turned from a bottom-feeder to one of the most exciting teams in the league in just one season, and with first-year coach DeMeco Ryans and rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud leading the way, their future looks extremely bright.

On the other hand, it's the worst of times in Dallas after the Cowboys lost 48-32 to the Green Bay Packers in humiliating fashion on Sunday. The Cowboys continue to put up great regular seasons, but can never find the postseason success that has eluded them for decades. After the latest playoff disappointment, it's very possible there could be drastic changes in Dallas this offseason.

Just after the Cowboys game went final, the Texans' social media team took the chance to take a shot at their in-state foes. The Texans posted a photo of their players celebrating a touchdown in Saturday's game with the caption "Texas' Team," a play on the Cowboys' nickname of "America's Team."

Since the Texans entered the league in 2002, they have five playoff wins to the Cowboys' four. So, in a way, they do have a legitimate claim to the title of "Texas' Team.

Throughout the season, Houston has shared some brutal posts at their opponents' expense. Perhaps the most notable post came after their win over the Tennessee Titans on Dec. 17, when the Texans trolled the Titans for wearing their Houston Oilers throwback uniforms.

The Texans are playing with house money at this point, and any further opponents they manage to beat will surely feel their social media team's wrath.
