Will Levis Returns to Practice, Amani Hooker Hits IR on Tennessee Titans' Friday Injury Report

The Tennessee Titans' injury report has been lengthy all week so it is no surprise that Friday came with some big news. Eight players were ruled out including many starters, Will Levis made a surprise return to practice and safety Amani Hooker was placed on injured reserve.

The Tennessee Titans have seen double-digit players miss the first two practices of Week 16 as they prepare for the Seattle Seahawks and more bad injury news came on Friday when the Titans ruled out multiple players and then some.

Tennessee Titans Week 16 Friday Injury Report

The Titans have ruled eight players out including five starters. One of those starters was safety Amani Hooker. Hooker has had a good year for the team, but his season is now over. The Titans will be without both starting safeties as K'Von Wallace was ruled out as well. Look for Elijah Molden and Terrell Edmunds to get the bulk of the snaps.

Cornerback may be even bleaker as Sean Murphy-Bunting was ruled out. Starting cornerback Kristian Fulton is already on injured reserve, leaving Roger McCreary as the lone starter with Tre Avery and rookie Eric Garror as his help. Also at corner, Caleb Farley practiced, but Mike Vrabel announced he wouldn't play this season.

Practice also saw the return of quarterback Will Levis. Levis missed on Wednesday and Thursday with a high-ankle sprain, but was seen with the team during the stretch period to start practice and is listed as questionable. In the video below from Jim Wyatt of the Tennessee Titans, you can see Levis' heavily-braced leg.

Levis could be pushing to play or this could be an attempt at gamesmanship by Vrabel. Either way, Levis playing on Sunday would definitely pose a long-term risk for the Titans considering the state of the offensive line.

On the Seattle side, the injury list isn't quite as long, but it is far from short. Seattle could be without multiple key players like running back Kenny Walker Jr, center Evan Brown and cornerback Devon Witherspoon, both of which are questionable.

They will be without safety Jamal Adams, wide receiver Dee Eskridge and edge rusher Frank Clark in this matchup as all three have already been ruled out. Seattle will be getting quarterback Geno Smith back however, as Smith practiced in full all week after missing the last two games.
