The New York Knicks' celebrity row is packed with A-listers like Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, and Ben Stiller, but Jalen Brunson has only one favorite.

In an interview with Variety, the NBA champion was quoted in a feature on Mariska Hargitay, where he explained why the "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star is his favorite Knicks fan. He shared that he is grateful for the relationship they have built over the years and for having her in his corner.

The NBA Finals MVP shared that he is a "lifelong fan of "SVU."

Hargitay cheered on Brunson and the Knicks throughout their title run. She was notably in the audience for the Knicks' historic NBA Finals Game 4 against the San Antonio Spurs.

The veteran actress wore a "Stevie Knicks" shirt alongside Taylor Swift and the Haim sisters (Alana and Este). The two had a moment after the game, when the pair embraced after the 107-106 win.

Back in May 2025, Stiller was a guest on Brunson and Josh Hart's "Roommates Show" podcast, where the actor said that Hargitay was the "envy of every other Knicks fan, Knicks celebrity fan" because she gets a hug from Brunson even after the team loses.

Jalen Brunson Supports Mariska Hargitay's Broadway Debut

Their friendship goes beyond the court, as Brunson has also supported Hargitay beyond watching an episode of "Law & Order: SVU." Hargitay made her solo Broadway show debut in "Every Brillant Thing," and Brunson, alongside his wife Ali, made their way to the Hudson Theatre to support her.

The couple met up with Hargitay, and Brunson posed for a photo with her outside of the theatre.

Jalen Brunson to Appear On 'Law & Order: SVU'

Hargitay confirmed that Brunson will be making his acting debut on "Law & Order: SVU." In an interview with Variety, she confirmed that his appearance on the show is "definitely happening.”

The "Law & Order: SVU" star praised Brunson's skill set, telling the outlet, that she "doesn't think there is much Jalen can’t do.”

It's unclear if Brunson has been on the set yet to film, but Knicks fans will surely be ready to see Captain Clutch in action.
