Luka Dončić’s Fiancée Anamaria’s ‘Complicated’ Message Turns Heads Amid Lakers Skid

At this point in the NBA season, teams are beginning to get a clear idea of where their squad stands and whether they have a true shot at competing for a league championship.

Given that the league's regular season is about three-quarters over, the true contenders have mostly separated themselves from those who were riding a hot streak earlier in their campaign. Then again, there are still some squads that might have another hot streak in them or otherwise still haven't hit their full stride.

The Los Angeles Lakers seem to be among these. Heading into their February 28 game against the Golden State Warriors, the Lakers still boast a respectable 34-24 record, which puts them at No. 6 in the Western Conference standings. And a squad that has LeBron James and Luka Dončić on the court is always in contention.

However, the Lakers appear to be headed in the wrong direction. They've lost three straight games and five of their last seven, which has caused them to slip in the standings.

The Lakers' recent losing skid isn't owed to Luka. He went off for 41 points on 12 of shooting from the field (including 6 of 11 from three-point range) in Los Angeles' 113-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns on February 26. He's now reading the league in points per game, with 32.7.

Dončić keeps his personal life relatively private. However, it's known that he is engaged to model and influencer Anamaria Goltes. The couple has a two-year-old baby girl named Gabriela together, although Goltes and Luka's daughter won't live in Los Angeles.

Goltes doesn't post much on social media. However, on February 13, she shared a video in which she can be seen singing various songs in the car.

The genre changes with each new song Goltes plays (of which there are over a dozen), and the video is captioned, "🗣️: What kind of music do you like? 💁‍♀️: Me: it's complicated".

Granted, this message doesn't relate to the Lakers' ongoing struggles and is merely just a showcase of Goltes' eclectic music taste. But it's still interesting to see what her lifestyle is like while Luka is trying to win his first NBA championship.

Time will tell about whether Dončić and the Lakers can make a run deep into the postseason or whether they'll struggle once the playoffs arrive.
