Wyndham Clark, Girlfriend Emily Take Big Step in Relationship Before BMW Championship

Wyndham Clark, who won his second U.S. Open title in June, is on a roll at the 2026 BMW Championship.
After entering the second round tied for first with J.J. Spaun, Gary Woodland, Chris Gotterup, and Rory McIlory, he sits atop the leaderboard solo with 12 under par heading in the third round on Saturday, August 22.
Traveling to St. Louis Missouri, for the second leg of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, Clark's girlfriend, Emily Tanner. Clark and Tanner made their relationship debut at the Masters in April where he dubbed Tanner "my good luck charm." They have been attached at the hip ever since.

Tanner shared the exciting news that she's moving out of Los Angeles to live with Clark, who resides in Scottsdale, Arizona just before the BMW Championship.
Tanner, originally from Detroit, Michigan, revealed it took her three days to pack up all her things which she documented in an Instagram video.
"I have lived in California for five years and honestly, I never thought that I would leave here," she says while packing.
"I think one of the most special parts about falling in love is realizing that the life you pictured for yourself can completely change when you find someone that you want to build it with."
"After months of living out of a suitcase, I am so excited that I finally get to live with my best friend. and start our new chapter together.," She concluded.
Clark joked in the comments, "Where are you moving??? 😏" to which Tanner replied with a "😉" emoji.

After spending so much time watching Clark play, Tanner is almost ready for her own set of golf clubs. She posted a video with Clark on Instagram and wrote, "Best kind of Sunday. Farmers market, church, & golf. (Yes I will be taking lessons soon 😅)."
One fan joked in the comments, "Dude has a nice swing, he should pursue a career in golf." Another person added, "I love a casual 9 with the reigning US Open champion to reset for the week ahead."
Of course, they have other interests outside of golf. Ahead of the Rocket Classic in Tanner's hometown, Clark had the honor of throwing out the first pitch at the Tigers game.
