There's something just refreshing about seeing Russell Wilson and Ciara use their platform for the greater good.

The retired NFL quarterback and the pop superstar have become one of those beloved celebrity couples who seem more comfortable giving back then being in the bright lights.

Through their charitable work, they've helped support children, families, and communities, showing that their influence can reach well beyond football fields and concert stages.

They're successful, they're devoted to their growing family and they seem to understand that having a public platform comes with a chance to do some good.

Now, Town & Country magazine is recognizing that commitment to charity. The longstanding magazine has officially announced that Wilson and Ciara are on the cover of its new philanthropy magazine issue.

The honor comes right after Wilson helped celebrate Ciara's birthday. The story focuses on their charitable work and the commitment they've made to helping children and families.

For Wilson and Ciara, giving back isn't something they decided to do once fame and success came along.

According to Town & Country, the two began talking about running a foundation together on their very first date. That's a deep talk to have when you're just getting to know someone, but it's obviously one that stuck.

Since then, the couple have helped tens of thousands of children, putting their shared vision into action. Their work has become an important part of their life together, showing that their partnership extends well beyond their careers and the spotlight that comes with them.

Russell Wilson and Wife Ciara Open Up About Their Philanthropic Mission

In the magazine's November issue, Wilson and Ciara sit down with writer Ian Frisch to discuss their charitable efforts and the thinking behind their "philanthropic mission."

"A 'transformational gift' is always a welcome one, but what does that mean, exactly?" the magazine stated on Instagram. "That's the question at the heart of this year's philanthropy issue. How does an act of generosity, or service, change the world, or someone's life, or even someone's day?"

The outlet adds, "Our cover stars - Russell Wilson and Ciara, Tory Burch, Andrew Shue, and The Metropolitan Museum of Art's visionary donors, including the Tang family, the Lauder family, and Jen Rubio and Stewart Butterfield - exemplify this idea."

It's great to see Wilson and Ciara getting this kind of coverage, and it shows that family is important to them, but so is helping other families. They're using their platform to help others, and that's worth celebrating. Seeing their charitable work highlighted in Town & Country is a lovely reminder that giving back never goes out of style.
