DK Metcalf, Woody Marks, and 3 Other Underdog Player Props for Steelers vs. Texans

Some of the best player props for Monday night’s playoff bout between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans.

The last game of the wildcard slate of playoff games in the NFL will be a featured matchup between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Houston Texans. Here are five of the best player props on Underdodg Fantasy for the game. 

DK Metcalf Over 55.5 Receiving Yards

This will be Pittsburgh WR1 DK Metcalf’s first game back since being suspended due to an altercation against the Detroit Lions in week 156 of the regular season. In a do-or-die game for the Steelers, Metcalf should show up, making his over on receiving yard line of 55.5 yards a great play.

Metcalf, in the regular season, was below average in covering the over on his Monday night receiving yard line set at 55.5 yards. He hit the over in just four out of 15 games. However, in the postseason of his career, he has been much better at covering the over on this line. Metcalf, in his career, has played in four postseason bouts and has had over 56 receiving yards in all games by a wide margin most times. He had over 95 receiving yards in three of the contests. 

Kenneth Gainwell Over 33.5 Receiving Yards

RB Kenneth Gainwell, whose role was seen as minute going into the 2025 season, has ended up being quite large, as he comes into the postseason being one of Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets. In Gainwell’s last four games, he has had over 33.5 receiving yards three times. This success should continue against the Texans.

In Houston’s last four regular-season games, they have allowed an opposing RB over 30 receiving yards three times.

Woody Marks Under 54.5 Rushing Yards

With a stable of RBs to start the year for Houston, Woody Marks has emerged as their main guy. He is a shifty runner with upside in the pass game, helping provide a versatile skillset to the Texans' offensive scheme. However, one area he should struggle with, despite his multitool play, against the Steelers, is on the ground.

Pittsburgh to close out the regular season was one of the best running defenses in the NFL. In their last three games, they allowed the fourth fewest rushing yards per game. With this, taking the under on Mark's 54.5 rushing prop line is the way to go in this contest.

Jaylen Warren Under 52.5 Rushing Yards

Along with the Steelers having a strong close to the regular season regarding their rushing defense, the Texans did as well. Over their last three games, they were allowing the 10th fewest rushing yards per game in the NFL. Within this, the last three opposing RB1s the Texans faced, only one of them covered the over on Steelers RB Jaylen Warren’s 52.5 rushing yard line. 

Given this and Warren’s volume of late—he did not have 15 or more carries in his last six games of the regular season–taking the under on his rushing yard prop set at 52.5 yards in this playoff bout is the correct play.

Dalton Schultz Over 4.5 Receptions

The Steelers this season had one of the worst passing defenses, and one player from the Texans who should capitalize on this is their TE1, Dalton Schultz. In the Steelers' last four games, opposing TE1s have had over 4.5 receptions three times. Schultz, in the regular season, covered the over on his 4.5 reception prop line for Monday in four of his last six games.
