2026 Fantasy Football Non-PPR 12-Team First Round Mock Draft: CeeDee Lamb Nearly Falls Out

We're heading towards the 2026 fantasy football season. On April 23, the 2026 NFL Draft will take place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, followed by rookie camp, training camp, and the preseason. Some fantasy owners will begin drafting their teams less than a month from now.
While the season is still a while away for most of us, it's never too soon to start looking toward fantasy draft season. This is our way-too-early first-round, standard (non-PPR) fantasy mock draft for the 2026 season.
1.1 RB Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons
Robinson is our top option in standard leagues without a doubt. He's the top running back in fantasy football, and we love getting an elite running back at the top of the first round.
1.2 RB Jahmyr Gibbs, Detroit Lions
We are starting with back-to-back running backs. With Montgomery out of Detroit, we are extremely high on Gibbs this season. The Lions will bounce back, and Gibbs will be the engine that runs the offense.
1.3 WR Ja'Marr Chase, Cincinnati Bengals
Chase is our top wide receiver in any format heading into the 2026 season. He has both the highest ceiling and the highest floor of any wide receiver in the league.
1.4 WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams
You can make a strong case for Nacua deserving to be the fantasy WR1; however, his recent off-field issues, combined with his lengthy injury history, have put him comfortably behind Chase for us.
1.5 WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Seattle Seahawks
After his monster 2025 campaign, JSN slides into the No. 5 spot in our mock draft. We are a bit concerned about some regression, but it would be tough to allow him to fall out of the top five.
1.6 RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
Through the first half of the season, Taylor was the no-doubt fantasy MVP last year. Once Daniel Jones got injured, things fell apart for the Colts' offense. Nevertheless, he was dominant while Jones was healthy, and we expect JT to return to form this season.
1.7 WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions
There is no player in fantasy football more consistent or reliable than St. Brown. If you draft St. Brown, you know exactly what you're getting.
1.8 RB James Cook, Buffalo Bills
Cook showed that 2024 was not a fluke last season and played even better in 2025. His touchdowns did drop from 18 to 14, but he also rushed for more than 600 more yards.
1.9 WR Drake London, Atlanta Falcons
We love London in this spot. He sees a ton of targets downfield and is dangerous in the red zone. The addition of Tua Tagovailoa makes him a much safer pick this season. Both Tua and Michael Penix have proven they can sustain a high-end fantasy WR1.
1.10 WR Malik Nabers, New York Giants
This is an upside swing. If Nabers came out this season and finished as the fantasy WR1, no one should be surprised. He'd be higher if he weren't coming off a torn ACL.
1.11 WR CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys
Lamb drops to 11 because the Cowboys brought back George Pickens, who could very well finish as the team's top fantasy wideout again this year. Nonetheless, Lamb's big-play upside and long-term consistency still have him here at No. 11.
1.12 WR Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
A handful of the wide receivers in this range could be swapped around for each other. We went with Jefferson at No. 12 because we are expecting a bounce-back season. Kyler Murray has his flaws, but is a huge upgrade over JJ McCarthy. Our only concern is touchdown upside.
