The Worst 5 Fantasy Football Offenses In Week 1 Featuring The Titans And Saints

In this story:
As we head into Week 1, it's important to understand that we need to get pieces of offenses that are going to have big games, avoid offenses that are not going to have a good week. Matchups, injuries, and other factors can impact an offense from week to week. These are the five worst offenses in Week 1.
Tennessee Titans

This is an offense that we believe will be much improved this season. First-overall pick Cam Ward is a stud, and both Calvin Ridley and Chig Okonkwo will far outperform their ADP. However, Week 1 is going to be a tough way to kick off the season. In the first start of his career, Ward will have to go on the road and take on the Denver Broncos, who have a great shot to be the best defense in the league this season. A lot of Titans are going to be strong fantasy options this season, but you should avoid them if possible in Week 1.
New Orleans Saints
The Saints take on the Arizona Cardinals at home this week, but that's not really the issue. If anything, that's a solid matchup. The much bigger concern is the team's lack of talent, most glaringly at the quarterback position. They are rolling with Spencer Rattler as their starter, and their top fantasy option is a 30-year-old running back, who isn't great on the ground anymore and hasn't played a full season since 2017. New Orleans could become a staple in this article in 2025.
New York Jets

The Jets' offense is going to be terrible this season, but certain players will have their weeks. Unfortunately, Week 1 is not one of those weeks. They match up against a tough Pittsburgh Steelers defense, which is particularly tough against running quarterbacks. Justin Fields isn't in the NFL because of his accurate passing. This is a particularly bad matchup for an already bad offense.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are going to be a bottom-10 offense, and the New England Patriots' defense is going to be tough if nothing else. We have seen many Mike Vrabel defenses in the past, and they will run through a wall for their head coach. Vegas going on the road to New England in Week 1 is a tough draw for an offense that should be improved from last year, but their quarterback is still Geno Smith.
Houston Texans

The Texans are going to be bad this year, and the Los Angeles Rams' defense is going to be very good. They are loaded with young talent both on the defensive line and in the secondary. As far as Houston goes, they enter the season with CJ Stroud, who was awful last year, now being protected by the worst offensive line in the NFL. To make matters worse, they have no rushing attack to take pressure off of him. The only player with any value on this team is Nico Collins, and that's just not enough.
