Sit These Five Wide Receivers Including DK Metcalf in Week 15

Now is not the time to make mistakes because the fantasy football playoffs are here. The wide receivers have been unpredictable this season, but we are here to help you get it right. We can not afford to have a bad performance sink our team this year. These are the wide receivers who should be sitting on your bench in Week 15.
DK Metcalf, Pittsburgh Steelers
Metcalf finally had a monster game in Week 14, giving fantasy owners who were still starting him what they've been waiting months for. However, we are not forcing him back in our lineups this week if we had been rolling with a more consistent option. He also has a much tougher matchup this week against the Miami Dolphins. Miami is allowing the ninth-fewest fantasy points to wide receivers this season.
Michael Pittman Jr, Indianapolis Colts

We can not start Pittman this week, and he is essentially just a placeholder here for all the Colts' wide receivers. We have no idea who the quarterback is going to be this week, with both Daniel Jones and Riley Leonard getting injured in Week 14. They signed 44-year-old Philip Rivers today, so options are limited for them at the position. Unless something drastic changes, Tyler Warren is the only Indy pass-catcher we'd even consider.
Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
This one is depressing. Egbuka continued to struggle in Week 14, catching just two passes for 15 yards, and dropped a 20-plus yard touchdown pass that hit his hands. This is now four consecutive bad fantasy outings, and Chris Godwin Jr has been looking better since returning. The Bucs could also get Mike Evans back this week. It also doesn't help that Baker Mayfield hasn't looked great since early October. We are going away from him this week if at all possible.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers

Watson has been great, which makes this a difficult call, but we expect him to be covered by Patrick Surtain II this week. We have no interest in that matchup. Surtain is the best cornerback in the NFL, and the Denver Broncos are allowing the eighth-fewest fantasy points in the league to wide receivers this season. The return of Jayden Reed could also further muddy an already trick fantasy WR corps.
Brian Thomas Jr, Jacksonville Jaguars
BTJ had a rare productive game in Week 14. He caught three passes for 87 yards, including a 39-yard grab. However, that came in a game without both Parker Washington and Dyami Brown, while Jakobi Meyers led the team with 10 targets, and Thomas's six targets were matched by both Tim Patrick and Brenton Strange. This one game is not nearly enough to make us consider putting him back in our lineup this week.
