Arian Foster changes Twitter avatar to bulletin-board material from Boston columnist

Arian Foster is adapting bulletin-board material to the age of Twitter, changing his avatar or profile picture on Monday to a screenshot of a Boston journalist's column lambasting the Houston Texans as "frauds."

The Texans running back Foster took exception to a piece from Boston Globe columnist Dan Shaughnessy that called the Texans "pure frauds" and the "worst 11-1 team in the history of the NFL" as they prepare to take on the New England Patriots in the AFC Divisional Playoffs this Sunday at 4:30 p.m.

Here's the opening excerpt from Shaughnessy's column to which Foster changed his avatar:

The 2012-13 New England Patriots just became the first team in NFL history to get back-to-back byes before advancing to the conference championship game.

I mean, seriously? The planets are aligned and the tomato cans are in place. The Patriots and Texans faced off in a much-anticipated matchup in Week 14 this season in Foxboro, where the Patriots walloped to a 42-14 victory that sent the Texans spiraling to a 1-3 finish to the season.
